History
Welcome here! My name is Royan and I was born and raised in Manitoba. Throughout my life, my mother loved capturing that joy on camera, freezing that feeling in a moment. This is what fuelled my passion for photo and video, not only experiencing that joy, but freezing it in a moment, because they're not just photographs or videos, they're memories.
My Style
I started creating media for Weddings in 2021 and I have shot over 10 weddings and a many engagement sessions and I continue to grow and evolve with each wedding. I love bringing out the joy in every photo and video captured, finding those raw moments of laughter and excitement between you as a couple. I enjoy capturing your day in a photojournalist way, by capturing those raw candid moments while also intervening to give direction when it is needed to capture stunning imagery.
As a hybrid media creator, movement becomes my best friend in order to capture photo and videos that are more raw and natural looking. It helps the comfortable couples have a fun and playful experience and the stiff couples to loosen up around the camera. I will make sure the necessary photos are taken throughout the day, but I love when I simply capture what the couple is feeling within that moment because of it's authenticity.

- I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Film & Theatre in 2024
- I'm going to school to get my teaching degree starting in the fall of 2026

- If I'm not shooting a wedding, I'm at my cabin in the summer

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book?
I accept bookings up to two years in advance, but if I’m available, I’m also happy to take on weddings with as little as two months’ notice. Just send in a contact form and I’ll be in touch!
Do you work with awkward couples?
Not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera and that's okay! I work with awkward couples all the time, which is why I love making my clients move, since it helps things to feel less stiff!
Are you able to help with our timeline?
Figuring out a timeline for your wedding is sometimes stressful, especially when you don't have any references or guidance. When booking my Diamond Photo or Ultimate Photo & Video package, I offer free assistance with planning and timeline building. We'll set up a meeting closer to your date and go from there!
How will I receive my media?
You will receive your photos & videos through a pixieset link through your email and you will be able to download them from there! You can also add a USB for an extra $50 delivered straight to you!
***I recommend you download the photos and video as soon as you can and save it to your computer or other devices so you 100% know you have it and have access to it!
Do you charge mileage fees?
All wedding coverage includes locations within Winnipeg, MB. After this the CRA standard rate is $0.72 per km that will apply for locations outside of Winnipeg's Perimeter.
How do you pronounce your name?
The proper pronunciation is "Roy-anne". Names can be tough, especially uncommon one's that you don't hear very often. It's not unfamiliar to me for those not knowing how to pronounce my name, so don't sweat it.
